The Al-Bireh Society, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our main focus is providing scholarships to support our local youth as well as those abroad.

 

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP

  • Member of Al-Bireh Society, Inc.
  • Applicant may be a resident of the United States or Al-Bireh Palestine
  • Applicants should be 17 years of age as of August 20, 2023 or older
  • Must be accepted at US educational institution or University/College in Palestine.
  • Only 1 individual per family may apply
  • Recipients of university-based financial scholarships will be deemed ineligible should they be chosen as a recipient of the ABS scholarship during the same academic year.

 

SCHOLARSHIP PACKAGES

  • 1 High school senior scholarships for $1000.00 – $5000.00 each
  • 1 College student scholarship for $1000.00- $5000.00 each
  • 1 Graduate student scholarship for $1000.00- $5000.00 each
  • 3 Students from Al-Bireh Palestine $1000.00 -$5000.00 each

HOW TO APPLY

Instructions on how to apply for scholarships is posted at www.albirehsociety.org. Please log in and complete the scholarship forms by clicking on the link provided. Please provide grades and 1 letter of support the to following email:

  1. Register as an Al-Bireh society member at albirehsociety.org
  2.  Fill out an application in ENGLISH  bit.ly/ABSEng or ARABIC http://bit.ly/ABS-Scholarship-Arabic)
  3. Topics for essay: How best have you served your community and how has your service been influenced by your Palestinian identity? Please provide an answer that addresses what you have done and what, if any, challenges you have faced.
  4. Registration will be open from August 15, 2023 till October 30, 2023 Scholarship Committee will review applications
  5. Finalist will be notified by December 15th, 2023 to Jan 1, 2023.
  6. An invitation for finalists to attend the ABS gala will be mailed out if during a convention year. Winners will be notified and recipients announced on the website.
  7. Private breakfast for scholarship recipients and donors will be held at the ABS Breakfast during a convention year.
  8. Final review criteria and college information will be required to submit the scholarship to the designated financial aid office.

منحة البيرة

 

جمعيّة البيرة 501 (C) (3) هي منظمة خيريّة.  هدفنا الرئيسي توفير منحاً دراسيّة لدعم الأهداف التعليميّة لطلاب معاهدنا المحليّة بالاضافة لمن هم في الخارج.

معايير القبول في المنحة:

  • يجب أن يكون المتقدم مقبولاً، أو مسجلاً حاليّاً في جامعة أو معهد في فلسطين أو الولايات المتحدة
  • يجب ان يكون المتقدم من سكان الولايات المتحدة او من سكان البيرة في فلسطين.
  • يجب ان يكون عم المتقدم 17 عاما أو اكثر مع نهاية 20 آب من العام 2021 .
  • إذا كان المتقدم يسكن في الولايات المتحدة، فعليه أن يكون عضواً في جمعيّة البيرة (ABS) (هذا الشرط ينطبق على سكان الولايات المتحدة فقط).
  • يحق فقط لفرد واحد من العائلة التقدم للمنحة .
  • يعتبر المستفيدون من المنح الدراسية المالية الجامعية غير مؤهلين في حال اختيارهم كمستفيدين من منحة ABS خلال نفس العام الدراسي.

المنح المقدمة :

* عدد 1 منحة مقدمة لطلاب المرحلة الدراسية  الثانوية النهائية 1000.00

* عدد 1 منحة مقدمة لطالب في المرحلة الجامعية 1000.00

* عدد 1 منحة مقدمة لطالب دراسات عليا1000.00

* عدد 2 منحة مقدمة لطلاب من مدينة البيرة في فلسطين  1000.00

رعاية المنح :

 

* 10000$ منحة مقدمة باسم الشخص او العائلة

* 5000$  منحة مقدمة باسم الشخص او العائلة

* 1000$ منحة

* $ اي مساهمات أخرى

* جميع التبرعات تخضع للخصومات الضريبية.

 

 

كيفيّة التقديم:

الرجاء الدخول للموقع وتعبئة النماذج والاستمارة الخاصة وارسالها عبر البريد الالكتروني Albirehsocietyscholarships@gmail.com

  • سجّل كعضو في جمعيّة البيرة في الموقع: albirehsociety.org
  • سيكون باب التسجيل مفتوحا من 15 آب 2021 حتى 15 تشرين أول،2021.
  • مواضيع الابحاث المقترحة سيتم الاعلان عنها بداية شهر آب 2021.
  • لجنة المنح ستقوم بمراجعة الطلبات.
  • سيتم اعلام الفائزين بالمنح 15 كانون ثاني 2021.
  • سيتم ارسال كتاب دعوة للفائزين لحضور مؤتمر ABS اذا تصادف اقامة المؤتمر هذا العام،  وسيتم الاعلان عن الفائزين عبر الصفحة الاكترونية للجمعية.
  • سيتم اقامة حفل افطار خاص حيث يحضره مقدمي المنح والفائزين أثناء عقد مؤتمر ABS.

إضافة:

  • يجب تقديم معايير المراجعة النهائية ومعلومات المؤسسة التعليميّة لتمويل المنحة إلى مكتب المساعدة الماليّة المحدد.
